Health always comes first. We health-test our breeding dogs and choose pairings carefully, so the puppies get the best possible start.
Eye examination / DNA for PRA
To rule out hereditary eye diseases, including PRA (progressive retinal atrophy), which can lead to blindness.
Patella (kneecaps)
Screening for patellar luxation, where the kneecap can slip out of position.
Hips (HD)
X-ray for hip dysplasia, so we breed from dogs with healthy hips.

We breed on a small scale and only when we want a puppy to carry on our line. We value health, good temperament and breed-typical dogs over the number of litters.
The puppies grow up in the home, so they are confident around people, sounds and everyday life before they move.
